Pakistan and Malaysia decide to further expand defence ties and defence equipment manufacturing
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and Malaysia have agreed to further expand cooperation in defence and other defence equipment manufacturing sectors.
This was agreed during the 13th joint meeting of Pakistan and Malaysia forum on defence, which held its three-day meeting in Kuala Lumpur.
Secretary Defence Lt. Gen (Retd) Ikram-ul-Haq led the Pakistani delegation while Secretary General for Malaysian Defence Haleemi Abdul Munaf led the delegation of his country.
Two sides also discussed matters of mutual interest including security situation in the region.
Pakistani delegation also visited Boustead Heavy Industries and AERO industries during the visit.
