Team of Pakistani and Foreign climbers make first winter ascent of killer mountain Nanga Parbat
PESHAWAR: A team consist of three members have reached at the top of the killer mountain Nanga Parbat first ever in winter season. Nanga Parbat is the second highest peak after K2.
As per details, Karrar Haideri Spokesperson of Alpine Club, climbing institution in Pakistan told that the climbers have reached at the top of the Nanga Parbat at 3:37 pm Pakistani time. The height of the peak is 8,125 meter.
The members of the team includes Alex Txikon (Spain), Ali Sadpara (Pakistan) and Simone Moro (Italy) while the fourth climber of the team Tamara Lunger (Italy) could not succeed to reach at the top of the peak.
The spokesperson added that all the climbers will reach at base camp today. Nanga Parbat is the fourth highest peak of Pakistan while 12th highest peak of the world.
There are 14 peaks in the world while 5 are present in Pakistan.
