Provincial Governor Wahidullah Kalimzai claimed that the bomber was riding a bike and blew himself up at the entrance of government compound in Asadabad.
The tribal elder and militia commander Haji Khan Jan was involved in several operations against Taliban.
He said “most of the victims were civilians and children who were either passing by or playing in the park.”
Rescue and Security teams arrived at the spot and cordoned the area for investigation of incident.
