BAHAWALPUR: Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif said that our recent successes in ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azab and the standard of military training have proved that our Army is one of the best Armies of the world. The fitness and morale of the soldiers are appreciable.
According to ISPR, Army Chief reviewed the ongoing military exercises of Bahawalpur Corps and expressed his satisfaction over the preparedness of soldiers and officers to fight against terrorism.
While addressing the soldiers and officers at the occasion, he said that Pak Army is ready to combat any kind of internal and external challenges. Pak Army has become the best Army due to its high standard of training and successes in war against terrorism.
He added that Pak Army has professional capabilities to fight against menace of terrorism. Army Chief lauded the fitness of Army contingent. He also monitored the exercises through fighter helicopter.
General Raheel also visited Fort Abbas and Din Ghar training areas of Multan Corps while Bahawalpur Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Javed Iqbal was also present at the occasion. Army Chief was briefed by field commander over military exercises.
