Customs foil smuggling bid

PESHAWAR (APP): The personnel of Customs Collectorate, Peshawar foiled bid of the smuggling of 8 ton zinc slabs to Punjab and took the material into possession, said a press release issued here Tuesday.

The personnel of Mobile Squad of the collectorate had recovered 8067 kilogram zinc slab from the secret cavities of a 22 wheeler during a checking. The value of the seized zinc in mark is stated to be Rs.8 million.
