Sindh police benevolent and welfare fund board approves raise in support money for cops

The board members of Sindh Police Benevolent and Welfare Fund have unanimously approved to bring the welfare facilities for Cops at par with their colleagues in Punjab police department.

The spokesman of Sindh police informed Radio Pakistan Karachi that the board approved the increase of marriage grant from ten thousand rupees to fifty thousand rupees and in case of marriage of a son and a daughter cash money equivalent to fifty thousand rupees will be provided to each bringing total amount to one hundred thousand rupees.

Retirement grant on conclusion of twenty-five years services has been raised from fifteen thousand rupees to equivalent of basic salary, while those retiring at age of sixty years will also be entitled of basic pay instead of existent retirement grant of twenty-five thousand rupees.

The board also endorsed that hundred percent scholarship will be granted to the children of police department employees securing sixty-five percent marks while medical support of one million rupees would be provided to those serving as well as retired employees inflicted with any serious and life threatening disease.
