US hints at action against terrorists safe heavens in Pakistan

US Commander in Afghanistan General John Nicholson Jr. has claimed that the top leadership of Afghan Taliban is present in Quetta and Peshawar.
He made the claim during an interview to an Afghan television channel.
Nicholson said that US is aware that Taliban leadership is present in Peshawar and Quetta.
The US Army general stated that safe havens of terrorists in Pakistan have to be destroyed.
Nicholson also accused Pakistan of not taking action against terrorists' safe havens.
He said that America's national security is linked with success in Afghanistan.
