Pakistan will not let Afghanistan war spill into Pakistan, COAS tells Afghan counterpart

DUSHANBE – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan will not let Afghanistan war spill into Pakistan. He met with the Afghanistan Army Commander on the sidelines of the QCTC. 

He said Pakistan has taken the indiscriminately eliminated all safe havens of terrorists on its soil.

Addressing Quadrilateral Counter Terrorism Coordination forum in Dushanbe on Sunday, he said that the terrorism is a multinational threat.

The COAS said that the terrorism will be defeated through coordinated border management and intelligence sharing.

He also apprised the forum about Pakistan’s achievements in war against terrorism.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa had reached Tajikistan on Saturday on a three-day official visit for participation in Quadrilateral Counter Terrorism Coordination (QCTC) forum, comprising Pakistan, China, Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
