Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Bajwa has offered Afghan counterpart to form a joint working group.

He said that terrorism could be defeated through intelligence sharing and border management. General Bajwa said that Pakistan has indiscriminately targeted terrorists belonging to all outfits.

However he said we will not let Afghanistan war come to Pakistan.

The army chief convened a meeting with his Afghan counterpart following the conference during which the Afghan chief expressed willingness to form a joint working body.

The joitn military group would put forth its recommendations to address reservations of the two neighbouring governments.

ISPR said that the member states of the conference signed memorandum regarding anti-terror cooperation.
