Ramzan 2019: Office timings notified by federal government

ISLAMABAD - The federal government has announced office timings for the holy month of Ramadan, expected to begin from Thursday, May 7.
A notification issued from the PM House said that Ramadan timings for the offices working five days a week would be 09:00 AM to 03:30 PM (from Monday to Thursday) while the schedule for offices running six days a week will be 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM (Monday to Thursday & Saturday).
The offices shall close at 01:00 PM on Fridays, it added.
Earlier on Friday, a prediction came from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) suggesting that the Ramadan moon is likely to be sighted on the evening of Monday, May 6.
A statement from the department said, the new moon of Ramadan, 1440 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 03:45 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on Sunday, May 5.
