Indian Businessman secret visit to PM House, conveyed PM Modi's special message

ISLAMABAD: Reports have surfaced about a secret and suspicious visit of an Indian delegation to the Prime Minister House in Islamabad. The Indian steel tycoon Sajjan Jindal has visited the Prime Minster House and reportedly had a long meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

An Indian delegation led by industrialist Sajjan Jindal called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif yesterday and flew back to India, sources have revealed.

Sajjan Jindal is the same Indian businessman who had earlier visited the Prime Minister residence in Jatti Ummra Raiwind Lahore on the occasion of the marriage ceremony of the grand daughter of the Prime Minister. Jindal is considered to be the Narendra Modi and Nawaz Sharif middle man for convening their meetings.

Sajjan Jindal had also facilitated the surprise visit of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Raiwind Lahore on the same occasion of the marriage ceremony.

Reports had also surfaced that Sajjan Jindal was the key man who facilitated the PM Nawaz Sharif and Narendra Modi meeting on the sidelines of the SAARC conference.

However, when asked, Foreign Office spokesman was unaware of the arrival of Indian delegation in Pakistan.

Sajjan Jindal spent some hours in Pakistan and went back to his country. The three-member delegation went to Murree where they had lunch with Nawaz Sharif.

The sources said the efforts are afoot to pave the way for a meeting between Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), an emerging economic and security alliance.

Meantime, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) expressed reservation over the arrival of Indian delegation and submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly.

PTI leader and Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mehmood-ur-Rasheed tabled the resolution.

The resolution states Indian delegation flew to Pakistan to rescue the beleaguered Prime Minister. The resolution demanded the house and masses be apprised of motives behind this visit.
