Nawaz Sharif holds key meeting with party leadership

ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has on Tuesday chaired an important meeting of the party’s leadership.
The meeting was attended by various Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader including Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Barjees Tahir, Talal Chaudhry, Hafiz Hafeez, Sheikh Ansar.
Matter relating to today’s hearing of the accountability court over three references filed against Sharif family by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for having assets beyond their known sources of income, including London flats and Azizia Steel Mills came under discussion.
On the other hand, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman has on Tuesday met former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Punjab House. Various issues came under discussion during the meeting.
The former prime minister today appeared before the accountability court.
Nawaz Sharif will address a press conference later in the evening.
