General Qamar Javaid Bajwa calls on PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has convened meeting with freshly appointed Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Spokesperson for the Prime Minister House reported that the premier congratulated both the fresh appointees and expressed confidence in the two.
Earlier today, Qamar Javed Bajwa was appointed the new COAS by the Prime Minister out of five names that were under consideration over seniority.
