Funeral prayers of first Pakistani female martyred Fighter Pilot offered at PAF Base Malir

KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force’s first female martyred pilot Flying Officer Marium was laid to rest with full military honor in Karachi. Her funeral prayers was offered at Malir Cant Karachi. Corps commander Karachi Gen. Naveed, DG Rangers Sindh Maj. Akbar and Army and Air Force officers and soldiers attended her funeral prayers. At the occasion corps commander Karachi expressed his grief over the incident with her family and said scarifies of Marium is our proud and she was an example for nation’s daughter. Before the burial of martyred Marium , Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif condoled with his father on the phone and said she was the daughter of the nation. Air Chief Marshal Sohail Amman in his condolence message said, no can defeat the nation in which such daughters are present. Every member of PAF is ready to sacrifice his life on the country and Pakistani nation will never forget the great sacrifice of Marium . Flying officer Marium died yesterday in a jet crash of PAF F-7 while Squadron leader Saqib was severely injured.
