In India, farmers are observing Black Day on Wednesday to mark six months of agitation against three controversial agricultural laws introduced by the Modi government.

A leader of Bharatiya Kisan Union leader, Rakesh Tikait said that people are protesting by putting black flags outside their homes against Indian government's controversial agricultural laws.

Earlier, twelve major opposition parties including Congress had extended their support to the farmers' protest against Modi government.
