Govt implemented unprecedented development projects: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says PML-N government has implemented unprecedented development projects in various sectors across the country.

Addressing inaugural ceremony of a gas supply scheme in Mananwala near Sheikhupura this afternoon (Friday), he said the development work carried out during the last five years is more than that of the past 65 years.

The Prime Minister said a network of roads and motorways has been laid across the country; energy projects have been materialized; educational institutions established; new airports inaugurated, and new ports are being developed.

He said CPEC will prove a milestone in development of the country.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said it is a distinction of PML-N that during its term the 70-year old system prevailing in FATA is going to be abolished with the adoption of 31st Constitution Amendment by parliament.

This will help provide tribesmen rights being enjoyed by people of other areas of the country.

The Prime Minister said the people who change their political loyalties only serve their own interests instead of interest of the country.

He expressed hope that people will again elect PML-N in the next elections.

The Prime Minsiter also announced various development projects for the area, including status of Tehsil for Mananwala, girls Degree College in Manawala and construction of stadium and different roads in the area.
