6th Population Census 2017: CTD foil major terror attack plan in Karachi

KARACHI: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) have foiled an attempt to attack the census team on Saturday.
SSP Naveed Khawaja said that the arrested terrorist was wanted by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police and he had come to Karachi to attack the census team.
He said that the terrorist and his accomplices wanted to carry out saboteur activities in Karachi and Interior Sindh.
The SSP said that the raids were being conducted to arrest terrorists’ accomplices.
On the other hand, a team from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had reached Karachi to get the custody of the terrorist.
