Elimination of terrorism is necessary to achieve economic goals: PM Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif vowed to curb the scourge of terrorism saying that elimination of terrorism and extremism is necessary to achieve the economic goals.
While addressing the Pak-Iran Joint Business Forum here at Saturday in Islamabad PM said that Pakistan and Iran have deep friendly relations while both countries relations are based on mutual respect, religion and culture.
It is need of the time to change the relations with Iran in partnership while both can fully take advantage of the 5 year trade agreement. PM added.
Economic revolution would not only bring prosperity in Pakistan but entire region would be beneficiary of that while government is especially focusing to promote regional cooperation.
Speaking at the occasion, Iranian President thanked Pakistani government for his warm welcome and hospitality in Pakistan saying that Iran is desirous to enhance people to people contacts of both countries.
He further stated that both countries prosperity and security is linked to each other and Pakistan and Iran can further enhance their relations in field of education. Iranian President also offered cooperation to Pakistan in the elimination of energy crisis.
