LONDON – Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has congratulated Imran Khan on his thumping victory in the general elections.
In a statement on Thursday, he said that the nation deserves greetings on the defeat of the most corrupt coterie.
“I wish Imran should form the government in the centre as well as in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab,” he said.
The PAT chief said that the responsibility of providing justice to the Model Town martyrs lies on the shoulders of Imran Khan.
He asked Shehbaz Sharif to respect the vote by accepting the election results.
“I pray for a change in the system and results of the change should reach the poor,” he maintained.
