PTI's choice of member ECP from Punjab revealed

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Monday said honest and competent persons have been appointed as members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Talking to a private news channel, he said those people who had affiliations with political parties were not appointed as ECP members.
The minister lauded the role of Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah in the selection of members. He (Khursheed) wanted appointment of honest persons.
He said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had given the name of Tariq Khosa, whose name was considered but consensus could not be evolved. PTI chief Imran Khan should not express any reservation on the matter.
