*DUBAI – Former president Pervez Musharraf has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is befooling his nation as elections are won in India by misleading the nation.*
In a statement on Tuesday, he said that Indians are in habit of carrying out such activity before the elections. “The Congress is emerging and Sonia Gandhi is gaining popularity. The BJP is in fear of losing the elections and the Pulwama stunt has been used for the same purpose,” he maintained.
The former president said that the elections cannot be won this way. “Neither India can damage us on the Line of Control (LOC) and nor we can damage him on the LOC,” he observed.
He said that the issues will not be resolved unless Pakistan gives a tit-for-tat reply. “India defames Pakistan after carrying out such attack itself,” he added.
Pervez Musharraf said that Pakistan should use its friends and expose the Indian designs. “India is more influential than us and it succeeds by waging propaganda against us.”
He said that in 2002, he had ordered to attack in response to Indian attack and as a result, India fled and did not attack Pakistan.
