Ahad Cheema expresses satisfaction over treatment met in NAB custody

LAHORE – Additional Chief Secretary Umar Rasool ordered the Civil Secretariat to be opened despite absence of secretaries of all departments.

Additional Chief Secretary expressed apprehension at the lack of solidarity shown by the Provincial Management Service (PMS) officers to Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS) officers at Ahad Cheema’s arrest. He said that all the affairs would be carried out purely on merit from now and verbal orders would not be entertained any longer.

Meeting with Ahad Cheema at NAB office, his wife Saima Cheema also assured him of the support of the whole bureaucracy.

In the meeting, Ahad Cheema expressed satisfaction at the treatments he is receiving in custody.
