PM to inaugurate Green Bus Service in Karachi

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif made it clear that Karachi operation against criminals will continue till the complete restoration of peace in Karachi.

 

As per details, PM Nawaz was addressing a ceremony of laying down foundation stone of Green Bus Service in Karachi. PM Nawaz was welcomed by Sindh Governor Ishrat ul Ibad and CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah upon his arrival.

 

PM Nawaz laid down the foundation stone of Green Bus Project. Speaking at the occasion, Nawaz said that he had announced to lay foundation stone of Green Bus Project last year now the foundation stone has been laid down today.

 

He added that more than 3 lakh people will travel every day from Green Bus Project while the track of this project will consist of 22 Km instead of 11 Km.

 

PM Nawaz further stated that the work has started on Karachi-Lahore Motorway project while matters will be finalized within 1 month to start work on Hyderabad-Sukhur motorway adding that these major projects are not only to reduce the distance but to close the hearts to one another.

 

Talking about the law and order situation in Karachi, he lauded the role of Rangers in restoring peace in Karachi saying that the acts of murders, extortion, ransom other crimes have reduced due to the efforts of Rangers.
