PTI faces serious challenges on issue of seat adjustment with PML Q

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) central and provincial electable leadership has serious reservations against seat adjustment with the Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) in the upcoming elections.

PTI's disgruntled members of the national and provincial assemblies said that they made a political alliance with the PML-Q in the current situation in Punjab but in the next election, it is not at all possible to support the Q-League candidate instead of their own candidates.

They urged the party leadership that it should be decided first whether they would be awarded party tickets for upcoming elections or not as they are being pressured to resign.

They also threatened to join the PML-Q if they would be deprived of the PTI tickets after the seat adjustment.

The sources said more than 40 members of the National Assembly do not want to resign due to the issue of seat adjustment between PTI and the PML-Q.

The sources said dozens of PTI members have also developed contacts with the Q-League leadership for this reason.

According to some disgruntled members, though Imran Khan will never leave his 'players' alone but the people around him are not in favor of giving tickets to them.
