US President Donald Trump says government shutdown will continue unless he secures the desired funding for building a border wall with Mexico aimed at stopping illegal migration.
In video message, US President said the federal government would remain partially closed until Congress meets his demand for more than 5 billion dollars for the wall.
Earlier, top Democrats have criticized the US President for plunging the country into chaos after shutting down parts of the government during Christmas time.
