Imran Khan vows to jointly struggle along with Tahir ul Qadri

LAHORE – Pakistan Awami Tehreek chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered the Model Town tragedy and Punjab police were used for the purpose.

Addressing a joint press conference at Minhajul Quran on Tuesday, he demanded that Shahbaz Sharif should resign immediately. “The provision of justice is difficult in the presence of the Sharif brothers,” he maintained.

The PAT chief said that the decision on the container or something else will be made in the APC. “One brother has been ousted over the Panama and another will be ousted over the Model Town tragedy. No one was sent to jail in the Model Town case,” he added.

PTI chairman Imran Khan said that they will support the decision whatever made by Dr Tahirul Qadri. “All people watched the police firing shots,” he added.

To a question about putting Tahirul Qadri’s name on the ECL, Imran Khan said: “We will jointly struggle if Tahirul Qadri will not go abroad.”
