Former President Asif Ali Zardari’s sugar mill raided in interior Sindh

BADIN – Khoski sugar mill of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari in Badin has been raided by the FIA.
The raid was conducted after revelations made by Zardari’s close aide Anwar Majeed during the FIA interrogation. During the raid, the rangers surrounded the sugar mill and checked the different documents.
It was reported that the management was under control the close aide of Zardari Anwar Majeed. The employees of the mill including manager are recording their statements.
Earkier on Saturday, a local court in Karachi extended the physical remand of Anwar Majeed and his son, Abdul Ghani Majeed. FIA presented Abdul Ghani Majeed before additional district and sessions judge, south.
Anwar and his son were arrested on August 15 in connection to a case pertaining to money laundering through fake bank accounts.
