Malakand Expressway to change socio economic conditions

MALAKAND: (APP) Former Federal Minister and PPP Leader, Lal Muhammad Khan Friday said that construction of Malakand Expressway would open new vistas of development and initiate a phase of prosperity and progress in the area.
Talking to media men at his residence, he said that we are thankful to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for inauguration of Malakand Expressway that would help ameliorate socio economic condition of the masses and bring a pleasant change in their lifestyle.
Lal Muhammad said that Rs. 16 billion were approved for the project in 2009 but the cost of the project has been tripled due to the indifferent attitude of previous provincial government.
He said that we would welcome and cooperate with government in initiating welfare oriented schemes for the development of Malakand.
