PTI faces yet another blow

In Lahore, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) female supporters experienced a troubling turn of events when they were re-apprehended shortly after their release from Kot Lakhpat Jail. The incident unfolded when a contingent of policewomen took these PTI activists into custody right outside the confines of Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.

The unexpected rearrest of the PTI women occurred immediately upon their release from incarceration, a release that didn't bring the anticipated relief. In a distressing twist, their own families hesitated to welcome them back home, gripped by the palpable fear that another arrest might be lurking around the corner.

Prior to this unsettling episode, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) had issued an order for the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed Khan and several other party members who had been embroiled in the Jinnah House attack case. ATC Judge Arshad Javed delivered the verdict, extending bail to a total of nine suspects implicated in the aforementioned case.

The court's decision granted a respite to PTI activists Sanam Javed Khan, Robina Jameel, Afshan Tariq, Ashma Shuja, Shah Bano, Faisal Akhtar, Qasim, Ali Hasan, and Hussain Qadri, as they were finally allowed provisional liberty.
