PML-N 66 MNAs waiting for a nod, reveals probable one of them

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Zia chief Ijaz-ul-Haq said on Monday that 66 PML-N parliamentarians had contacted state institutions to ask for instructions. 

In an interview with SAMAA TV's Islamabad bureau chief Khalid Azeem, Ijaz said that the party would not accept Maryam Nawaz as its leader so soon.

"There is no conflict between Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif," he said. "However, disputes can arise between their children," he added.

Ijaz said that after Nawaz Sharif , his younger brother Shehbaz had the capability to unite PML-N.

Ijaz-ul-Haq said that as many as 66 PML-N parliamentarians had contacted certain state institutions and waited for their instructions. However, he said that the institutions had ignored the parliamentarians.

"Institutions are interested in taking democracy forward," he said.
