IESCO makes special arrangement for Muharram

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth and un- interrupted power supply during Muharram ul Haram especially on 9th and 10th Muharram.
According to IESCO spokesman here Monday, additional transformers, cables and other equipments have been provided to sub-divisions.
Special task force has been setup to monitor the situation.
The SDOs were asked to visit the route of processions and keep in touch with local administration.
The leaves of filed staff have also been cancelled to cope with any emergency situation.
He sid complaint offices would also remain open round the clock to address complaints promptly.
IESCO Chief Executive Officer Basit Zaman and Chief Engineer/Operation Director Raja Asghar Ali would personally monitor the field activities.
