Contempt of Court proceedings in LHC on PAT application

LAHORE – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has on Monday adjourned the hearing of contempt of court petition for not providing Model Town tragedy report to the families of victims despite the court order.
The contempt of court petition was filed by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) against Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, Punjab Chief Secretary and provincial Home Secretary.
Justice Mazahir Ali heard of the contempt of case.
The government lawyer said that a double bench of the LHC is hearing the same case.
The court adjourned the hearing until tomorrow.
