Sharif would leave for Pakistan today (Wednesday) from Saudi Arabia to arrive Pakistan, adding that he will appear before the accountability court (AC), Hassan Nawaz added.
The AC had indicted the former prime minister in three references in his absence as he was in London due to his wife’s ailment.
The Supreme Court had told the NAB courts that the trials into the Sharifs must be over within six months, with opponents betting that a flow of negative news from the trials will hurt PML-N’s popularity ahead at the next election.
