TEHRAN - Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said the United States is targeting the Middle East because it fears Islamic awakening in the region.
Addressing the international Islamic conference in Tehran, he said world powers are afraid of the awakening of the Islamic nations.
He urged the leader of Islamic countries to abstain from supporting the western powers in their crimes against Muslims in Palestine and other countries.
