Punjab Police official hit with bullet shot
FAISALABAD - A constable received bullet injuries during a cross firing between two rival groups in the area of Sadar police station. Police spokesman said here Sunday that Sadar police received a complaint that two rival groups are fighting and resorting to firing on each other in Gulshan Town Chak 225/R-B Malkhanwala. Receiving information, a police party rushed to the spot and tried to control the situation but in the meantime, a bullet hit constable Nauman near his shoulder and he was shifted to hospital. The police rounded up two accused from the spot and locked them behind bars for further investigation. The injured constable was admitted in the hospital and his condition is out of danger, the spokesman added.
