Pakistani team wins three Gold and one Silver at Asia Pacific Awards

COLOMBO: The awards ceremony was held in Colombo to honor the winner of Asia Pacific competition. The Pakistani team showed its tremendous technological performance at the Asia Pacific Awards (APICTA) and won three Gold and one Silver in the event. 17 countries of the region were participating in the event with their 197 technology products. The Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITES delegation took part in the competition with its 50 members with 22 technology products. The team from Eyedeus Labs secured first gold award for their new product “Ingrain” the other gold award was given to Evamp and Sanga for their product Mobile Audio Streaming Service while the third award was clinched by the student of NUST college of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering for their research project Active and Intelligence Powered Ankle Foot Prosthesis for Tras- tribal Amputees. The silver award was given to a young team from the NEST Technology Incubator in Karachi for their project Teddict. The chief guest of the ceremony was Harin Fernando who is the minster of telecom digital infrastructure of Sri Lanka. Pakistan high commissioner in Sri Lanka Shakeel Hussain was also present in the ceremony. P@SHA President Jehan Ara said at the occasion that P@SHA provided a platform to show the capabilities regarding technology products. Its objective is to promote software companies in Pakistan.
