Pakistan may witness complete lockdown after Eid ul Fitr over coronavirus lockdown
*ISLAMABAD – **Pakistan may witness complete lockdown after Eid ul Fitr over coronavirus lockdown.*
*The government has hinted at ending relaxation in the lockdown after the Eid holidays.*
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said that the impression of elimination of coronavirus in Pakistan is wrong. “Coronavirus cases and deaths are on the increase.
Thirty-four patients have died during the last 24 hours and 112 are on ventilators,” he said.
Dr Zafar Mirza said that deaths and cases would increase if precautionary measures were not adopted. “The situation can improve by following the SOPs. Coronavirus can spread fast by hugging,” he added.
He said that this Eid is different from other Eid.
