Speakers at a seminar stressed the need to control ever increasing population for economic development of the country.
Addressing a seminar held at local hotel under the aegis of district population welfare department here, MPA Dr Najma Afzal, Principal Government College for Women Peoples Colony Nasim Bashir, DO health Dr Asif Shahzad, DO Population Welfare Dr Farkhanda Almas, Incharge FHC Allied Hospital Dr Adiba Anwar and others urged for expanding population welfare programme at grass root level and awareness programmes to achieve its positive results.
They urged the participants to spread the message of Population Welfare department about benefits of small family among common man.
They said that teachers, beauticians, homeopathic doctors and religious scholars should be included in the programme.
