Russia leaping closer to Pakistan in all fields: FM

ISLAMABAD - Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says Pakistan is a peace loving country and we want cordial relations with all neighboring countries.
The Minister said that efforts are being made to develop strong relations with Afghanistan and Iran as well as Russia.
To another question, he said that Pakistan and Russia are enjoying cordial relations and Moscow extending cooperation to Pakistan in different fields.
Foreign Minister said we want a peaceful and stable Afghanistan as it is in the best interest of Pakistan.
He said Pakistan is making hectic efforts to eliminate menace of terrorism from the country and there are no safe havens of terrorists.
He said no country in the world has done more than Pakistan to counter terrorism and no country has suffered more than Pakistan.
The Foreign Minister said that the mega China Pakistan Economic Corridor will play an instrumental role in bringing change and usher economic stability and prosperity in the region.
