PSL Final: Closing ceremony in progress at National Stadium Karachi

KARACHI - Stage is set for the thrilling and a high voltage grand final of Pakistan Super League in Karachi between defending champions Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United.
The National Stadium will light up to welcome cricket’s homecoming to Pakistan’s biggest city to witness two great teams face off for the Pakistan Super League 2018 trophy.
While international cricket returned to Lahore with the staging of the PSL final last year, followed by three T20 Internationals against a World XI side and another versus Sri Lanka last October, Karachi has experienced a long nine year gap of top-level cricket.

Spectators have thronged the National Stadium Karachi in big numbers to see the PSL final.
The match will start at 8 p.m.
The city has been decorated with welcome banners, lights and large posters of PSL teams and players.
Full of entertainment closing ceremony of PSL-III is under way at Stadium.
Strings Band, Ali Zafar, Shahzad Roy, Farhan Saeed and Aima Baig are performing during the ceremony.
Radio Pakistan will broadcast running commentary on the match from National Stadium Karachi.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will witness the match in the stadium besides high civil and military officials, political personalities and renowned people from different walks of life.
