KARACHI: Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani has said that civilian governments have not been able to do anything because of civil military and bureaucracy.
Addressing a function at a private university in Karachi on Saturday, he said that there should be identical law for the Army and politicians.
He said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is not a solution to the problem, and added that a commission should be formed to carry out investigations.
Earlier, the Senate chairman urged students to follow teachings and ideology of the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in letter and spirit for a better future.
He said that Quaid-e-Azam wanted to make Pakistan a welfare state, which should be materialized.
