President emphasizes need for digital transformation for improving economy

ISLAMABAD-President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized the need for digital transformation of the country as it would play vital role in improving the economy of Pakistan.
Chairing the 3rd Meeting of Committee on Emerging Technologies, at Aiwan-e-Sadr, in Islamabad today [Thursday], he said the current economic and governance challenges could be met by adopting the Information and Communications Technologies.
Highlighting the significance of code of governance, the President said it is essential to develop a code of governance of international standard to enhance the efficiency of the government.
