FM calls for providing best training to diplomats

ISLAMABAD-Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has stressed the need for providing best training to the diplomats keeping in view the requirements of rapidly changing world after COVID-19.
He expressed these views during his visit to the Foreign Service Academy at Old Chinese Embassy in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Foreign Minister said better training will ensure the protection of Pakistan's interests.
He said we need to acquaint our diplomats with norms of traditional diplomacy as well as economic diplomacy and cultural diplomacy. All necessary steps are being taken in this regard, including changes in the syllabi.
He also expressed gratitude to the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan and the administration of Chinese Embassy for renovation of the Foreign Service Academy.
