Why PPP has distanced itself from Hussain Haqqani

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) has distanced itself from former ambassador to the US Hussain Haqqani saying that the party had nothing to do with the views expressed by him.
A spokesperson of the party said this when his attention was drawn to recent statements of Hussain Haqqani on a host of issues involving national security, said a press release issued by party secretariat on Friday.
The spokesperson said that Hussain Haqqani's views were entirely his own and it would not be correct to attribute them to the party.
