Paralegals: First conference on community based paralegals

ISLAMABAD (APP): The first National Conference on Community Based Paralegals will begin on Monday here featuring national and international paralegal practitioners, community representatives and government officials in different interactive sessions.
The conference will focus on enhancing the role of paralegals in resolving conflicts at community level.
The participants will hold dialogues, presentations, group and panel discussions seeking government's support in recognizing paralegals role as providers of justice services at community level.
The event is being organized by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with Rural Support Programmes Network (RSPN) under the Strengthening Rule of Law Project.
A large number of national and international paralegal practitioners and community representatives will exchange knowledge, share experiences, map challenges, and agree on a unified way forward.
