Massive Reforms in Punjab Police including 100 Model Police Stations and KP Police Act

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to take massive reforms in the Punjab Police following Sahiwal CTD encounter.
PM Khan directed to provide speedy justice to affected family in Sahiwal incident.
Prime Minister chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad in connection with reforms in Punjab Police.
The meeting was attended by Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and others.
While briefing media about the meeting, Fawad told that the Prime Minister has emphasized to send the challans of those involved in the incident to courts on immediate basis.
The meeting also underlined to change the police culture in the province.
Fawad asserted that 100 police stations in Punjab will be made model police stations.
He informed that the Police Act of KPK will be used as a model to bring reforms in Punjab Police.
