Kashmiris to observe Indian Republic Day as Black Day on Friday

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and abroad will observe Indian Republic Day on Friday, as black day to remind the world that India has usurped fundamental rights of Kashmiris particularly the right to self determination.

This was stated by Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan in a statement in Muzaffarabad on Wednesday.

He said big protests demonstrations and rallies will be held on Friday in Azad Kashmir, Europe, UK, USA and others countries where large numbers of overseas Kashmiris are settled.

He appealed to the public to fully participate in the demonstrations to record their protest against the illegal occupation of India over Kashmir.

The AJK Prime Minister said India has virtually turned Occupied Kashmir into a military garrison where locals are being treated as prisoners.
