Indonesian President arriving in Pakistan, will address joint session of Parliament

ISLAMABAD- Indonesian President Joko Widodo is arriving in Islamabad on Friday on a two-day visit to Pakistan.

He will be received by President Mamnoon Hussain at Noor Khan airbase.

The visiting dignitary will address the joint session tomorrow.

Joko Widodo will be the second President of Indonesia who will address the Joint Sitting of the Parliament.

Earlier, President of Indonesia Dr. Ahmed Sukarno had addressed the National Assembly of Pakistan on 26 June 1963.

President Mamnoon Hussain will host a state banquet in honor of the visiting dignitary tomorrow.

On Saturday, Joko Widodo will hold a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to be followed by delegation level talks between the two countries. Various agreements and MoUs will be signed on the occasion.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Indonesian President Joko Widodo will address a joint press conference.

The Prime Minister will hold a luncheon in honor of the visiting dignitary.
