Afghan Taliban two commanders killed in clashes with Afghan Army


FARYAB: Two commanders of Taliban group were killed in Frayab province of Afghanistan during the ongoing clashes with the Afghan security forces on Thursday.

According to military official the clash was started in Ghormach district between Afghan forces and Taliban fighters in which two local commanders of Taliban group were killed and one of the commanders is identified as Mullah Sher Agha.

Four Taliban militants were also injured during the clashes that took place in Aab Garmak area of the district.

The official added that the Afghan forces also confiscated a communication device set and an improvised explosive device was discovered and defused as well.

Faryab is among the relatively volatile provinces in northern parts of the country where the anti-government armed militants are actively operating in a number of its districts.
