75 couples marry at Quetta mass wedding

QUETTA:As many as 75 couples tied the knot at a mass wedding ceremony arranged by the Welfare Department here at on Saturday.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Provincial Minister for Education Tahir Mehmood, Advisor to Chief Minister for Social Welfare Sardar Saleh Bhootani and members of the provincial assembly also attended the ceremony. It was told that Rs 200,000 was given to each couple for dowry.
Chief Minister Bizenjo congratulated the newly wed couples and announced Rs, 100,000 for each of them. Secretary Social Welfare Sardar Khan Bugti on the occasion said a mass wedding ceremony of 25 couples would be arranged in Nasirabad. APP/AFP
